Mari0
I stumbled upon this game called "Not Tetris" a few months back and within the website, I found the most awesome thing. What it is is a game in development called Mari0 and it's a mash up of 2 of my favorite games. Super Mario Bros. and Portal 2. It's a game re-coded to have Portal 2 portals, and have all the levels, enemies and physics of Super Mario Bros.. To those who know a little bit more about Portal 2, there will be things like propulsion gel and faith plates. You can even play multi-player with as many people you want.Literally. You can even make your own levels with a built in level editor. An added bonus is being able to download new maps that can be themed with Portal 2 or, well, anything.
Keep in mind that this is in development, but you can see the progress of the game and try some of his other works like Not Tetris and Rimshot. And as for the legal matters, he will not charge anything for the re-makes so that he wouldn't be making money from other peoples ideas. You can find his homepage here and see for yourself.

My Understanding On How the Universe was made
The Universe is about 13 billion years old and yet no one actually knows how the universe was made. That's because no one has actually been at the beginning of time. We can theorize but we will never actually know what started the creation of the universe. But because we know that the universe is expanding, we can probably say the it once started out smaller than anything there could probably be.
What I know of is that for some unknown reason, the universe started out with a bang. A very big bang. Out of nothing, absolutely nothing, the universe came to be. It expanded from a dot as small as a quark(what atoms are made of) to something the size of the Earth in less than a second. At first, it was only matter and anti-matter. If they touch each other they will go into non-existence. After this war, matter won, and that's why were not made of anti-matter.
The only element present was hydrogen, the lightest of all the elements. But, gravity took over and the hydrogen bonded with each other and created the first stars. In the star's core, nuclear fusion is happening making heavier elements like gold and other rocks. Millions of years later, when a star dies, all the elements in it's core is ejected out into space which is what our planets are made up of. This cycle of making stars, making more elements and dying is what has made all our planets and even what your using to read this right now. So in a way, you, me, and everything is made up of star material o.O. And this cycle is still happening. Stars are born, die and make new planets and stars. So that's what has happened from the big bang, as far as I know. I could be wrong.

I don't use guns to kill zombies, I use plants!!!!
Pop cap's Plants bs. Zombies(PC and MAC)
Plants vs. Zombies was released by Pop Cap in 2009 for the PC and MAC. And has been a huge hit. With a growing fan base. It renews the tower defense genre just by using some plants and the undead in a cartoonish way. Plants vs. Zombies is tower defense game with a twist. Instead of enemies going through a path towards your base, which a typical tower defense game would be played. It instead gives you an empty lawn which you can fill up with sunflowers that produce "sun" which is like an in- game currency letting you buy more various plants like Peashooters and Walnuts that defend you lawn and you're brain.
The Good
PvZ is a fun cartoonish game filled with randomly spawned zombies for each level. Picking the right plants for the right zombies gets you through a level and earns you more plants to use in the next levels. This reward system gives players an urge to play more. The graphics are very cartoonish making a horrible zombie be appealing to a 5-year old and yet still fun for older players. It also includes a fun zen garden mode where collected plant pots in the original adventure mode are kept, watered and sold for an in-game currency in dollars.
The Bad
One thing in the PC version of PvZ was multiplayer. Even with a fun adventure mode and a huge variety of mini-games and levels, the zen garden isn'tgoing to hold up to the game. Replaying the game can be an option, but it gets a bit boring after you have collectedalltheplants in the game.
Recommendation
I would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun, arcade-ish lawn defense game. It took me at least 10 hours to play through the entire adventure mode and an added 5 hours for all the mini-games.a good game and a fun pastime-when your bored game when you've finished it.

A Break for Pluto
After over 76 years of being called a planet, it go demoted to a "Dwarf Planet". Although, there's another planet nearly as big as Pluto, Eris. After being discovered in 2003, Eris was thought that it was BIGGER than Pluto. But when Eris passed a star in it's 566 year orbit around the sun, it gave Astronomers a chance to measure it's diameter. Ever so surprisingly, Eris was only about 15 miles smaller then Pluto! This means that Pluto is now the biggest dwarf planet discovered.
Pluto, now being the biggest dwarf planet, is getting attention once again. Being demoted from it's "planet" status, but being promoted as king of the dwarves is giving Pluto new life. If it wasn't then Pluto would just be ignored and forgotten. Generations from now,5 year-olds are probably going to ask:"What's Pluto?, a fruit?". Even though Pluto is no longer "officially" a planet. I will still remember it a the "old" ninth planet of the solar system.

Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!!!!
Space, a big vast nothingness in between planets. Space is just that, space. No air no nothing. Very little matter, maybe a few rocks here and there. Space is HUGE! The moon is 240,000 miles away from the Earth. That's 240,000 miles of nothing!
I for one knew this. I'm have a very good idea on how far space stretches out. Between planets, stars, galaxies and so on. If you know how fast light can travel and what time it take to travel from the sun to the earth. You would be shocked. 8 full minutes! The sun can die out instantanoulsly and we wouldn't know about it for 8 minutes.
What is space?
Mosquitos + Rain = Science!
Researchers at the Georgia institute of technology found the reason to why Mosquitos can fly in the rain. A mosquito's mass is actually 50 times greater than a raindrop.Because of this, raindrops do not splash on the Mosquitos but just push them away.
I don't really know why I found this interesting but I have always wondered wether mosquitos can fly in the rain. I always thought that Mosquitos would actually die in the rain because I thought that they would get hit hard by tue rain. Now every time that it rains in the summer I will always think about Mosquitos trying to fly in the rain
How can Mosquitos fly in the pouring rain?
